About Me

My professional journey began in Hollywood, where I joined a startup focused on live interactive webcasting. Even as the dot-com bubble burst, my passion for innovation remained undiminished.

I then moved to The Cobalt Group in Austin, where I spent five transformative years designing enterprise software. During this time, I took on a management role, honing my skills in team leadership and fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration.

In 2006, I relocated to Seattle to join Amazon, where I gained extensive experience in retail at a massive scale, software services, and consumer electronics. One of my proudest achievements was leading the Design team for Kindle Fire OS, where we pushed the boundaries of user experience and technology integration.

In 2015, I transitioned to Intuit in San Diego, taking on the role of leading design for the TurboTax Platform, the Virtual Expert Platform, and eventually QuickBooks’ core Accounting. This period was marked by a deep commitment to enhancing user experiences and integrating advanced AI technologies across a diverse range of products.

I recently took a break to recharge and am now looking for the next step in my career. I want to use my experience and creativity to solve a new and exciting problem.

Outside of my professional life, I embrace the vibrant lifestyle of Southern California with my wife, Liz, and our two energetic children, Spencer (8) and Dexter (13). We love mountain biking together, and I also find joy in home renovations and solving puzzles with Liz.
